An e-denial build I thought of...
I just thought of this energy denial build for RA. Unlike most e-denial builds, it actually kills, not disable the opponent. Tell me what you think.
Attributes: Fast Casting:10+1
Domination Magic:10+2
Inspiration Magic: 10+2
[wiki]Aneurysm[/wiki]
[wiki]Power Leech[/wiki]
[wiki]Energy Burn[/wiki]
[wiki]Power Leak[/wiki]
[wiki]Feedback[/wiki]
[wiki]Energy Tap[/wiki]
[wiki]Ether Feast[/wiki]
[wiki]Resurrection Signet[/wiki]
Of course, go after casters. This sucks against anything that doesn't cast spells.
First cast Power Leech and Energy Burn. Power Leak any self heals. Use Feedback on enchantments and then use Aneurysm for a very quick spike. MAKE SURE THAT YOU CAN KILL THEM WITH ANEURYSM BEFORE YOU USE IT. If they don't die, then they will have full energy and the whole exercise will be pointless. This works the best against eles. You can spike them for over 200 hundred damage from one Aneurysm.
You could throw in some alternate energy management. I prefer Energy Tap for its near unconditional energy gain. You can even throw in Wastrel's Worry to make sure your target casts (and loses energy via Power Leech).
So tell me what you think!

I agree. I think you have enough e-denial that you can throw in power drain, which I think is a better skill than Energy Tap.

^Power Leech is the elite here.
Personally I would drop feedback - not a fan.
I am however a fan or Drain Delusions + Ether Phantom (For which I would drop Energy Tap)
...Also acts as a nice cover for Power Leech

I'm glad you all like it.
All your posts are valid, and like I said, you can pick whatever energy management you wish.
Ether Phantom does make a great cover hex for Power Leech... I wonder why I didn't think of that...
Power Leech drains far more energy and is much better energy management (and it interrupts, too) that Energy Surge. Remember that Power Leech does not just make you lose energy, it STEALS it for the caster!

So this build basically takes all their energy and then gives it all back. Awesome!

And it doesn't kill anything unless the person's going to get killed anyway.
It's not as if spikes from other professions are any less than 200.

Eh. I suppose you're right.
The constant flux of energy is enough to screw up any noob caster in RA though.

Just another suggestion but I tried a power stealer build in RA. It was a Illusion / inspiration drain build degeneration and drain When I got low on energy (Under 10) I picked a sin or monk or Melee and casted
[skill]Ether Lord[/skill] mixed followed by [skill]Ether Signet[/skill]
It is a good combo but you have to wait till you are low to use it
